OwlAI EnglishEspañol

Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

The Spanish version of this policy prevails in case of discrepancy.

1. Controller

OwlAI (owlai.es), a personal project with no commercial activity, run from Spain. Contact for any privacy matter: contacto@owlai.es.

2. In short

3. What data we process and why

a) Visit statistics with Google Analytics (only with your consent). If you accept in the cookie notice, Google Analytics 4 collects a random identifier stored in a cookie, the sections you visit, the date and time, your device and browser type, language, the site you came from and an approximate location (country or city) derived from your IP. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off: the data is not used for advertising.

b) Technical operation of the server. To deliver the site, the server necessarily receives your IP address and the technical details of the request. We do not keep them in a visit log. They may only appear in technical error or security logs, which are deleted automatically by rotation within a few days.

c) Email. If you write to us, we use your address and what you tell us only to reply, and keep it as long as needed to deal with your request. Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in answering it.

d) Storage in your browser. OwlAI stores in your own browser (localStorage) your language, your theme, the date of your last visit (to mark what is new) and your cookie choice. This data does not leave your device. You can delete it from your browser settings.

4. What we do not do

We do not build profiles, make automated decisions about you, use your data for advertising or sell it. Fonts are served from our own server (not Google Fonts). News links lead to third-party sites with their own policies.

5. Your rights

You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, object to its processing, ask for its restriction or portability and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to contacto@owlai.es. Since we do not ask for any identifying data, finding your Google Analytics data would require the identifier in your _ga cookie; the simplest option is to withdraw consent and delete the cookies.

If you believe your rights have not been properly handled, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or to the authority of your country.

6. Children

OwlAI is not aimed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their data.

7. Changes

If what we do with data changes (for example, if ads are shown in the future), we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent again.
